About the CELLULAR collection

In geology, tensile features include joints, veins, dikes and sills. Veins are also our blood vessels. They are rivers and tunnels, streams of constant traffic. In this collection, we try to bridge the gap between the inner and outer world of surfaces. Are these inner structures immune to changes that occur outside the body? Most reflective of that notion is our Arteria artwork, which exists somewhere between the two worlds. It focuses on the art of nature, which has an important purpose: to carry life. The network of vessels, with its small branches spreading out in all directions – another of nature’s creative designs –  is, in some places, curiously disrupted.
